The Duchess of Cambridge wore a gorgeous teal coat that is very similar to one that Meghan Markle wore to the launch of Together: Our Community Cookbook back in 2018. Meanwhile, the rest of Kate’s look was clearly inspired by Meghan’s fashion playbook when she and Prince Harryvisited NYC last fall. Black wide-legged trousers? Check. Belt? Check. Black turtleneck? Check. She even popped the collar on her coat à la Duchess Meghan! To mark her first public appearance in five weeks, Kate has toned down the blondish curls we saw when she played the piano at a Christmas concert, going for a darker, chic-er hair color. During their visit to the Foundling Museum, of which Kate is patron (it was originally set up as a home for neglected children back in 1739), the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took part in discussions about the foster care system in the UK and the various issues that foster children will face in life. The couple also visited a hospital in Lancashire today, with Kate pairing a brown turtleneck with a long camel coat. View this post on Instagram
