Twitter account @CelebJets confirmed that the total flight time was 17 minutes, as opposed to a 45-minute drive, after Jenner flew from Camarillo, California, to Van Nuys, California, last Tuesday. The problematic post, which seemingly came off as highly out-of-touch to the everyday individual, garnered a wave of comments bashing the 24-year-old for her lack of consideration for the earth, as well as the other people living on it. “But it’s us who must use paper straws 😩,” one Instagram user commented, alluding to the fact that if the bigger environmental issues continue to persist, the small ones being tackled won’t matter as much.
