The 43-year-old father of three chatted with Parade during BravoCon in New York City on Oct. 14. In our conversation, Joe revealed that despite his family-first image, his wife, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga, has had to teach him a thing or two about how to handle life’s ups and downs.  The biggest life lesson she taught him, in his words, has to do with forgiveness.  “There’s a lot of jealousy in life,” Gorga said, acknowledging that Melissa has become somewhat of a target for drama during her time on the show, “But what’s great about her [Melissa], you can shit on her, and she doesn’t hold a grudge.”  “The next day, she forgives–that quality is amazing,” the adoring husband exclaimed.  Gorga continued, explaining that even though he’s been married to Melissa for some time now–18 years to be exact–it’s taken her a while to rub off on him.  “I didn’t have that quality; I used to hold a lot more grudges. I grew up the ‘Italian way,’” he said, later clarifying that he was raised to forgive but never forget.  “As I got older, I got smarter. And now, I’ve learned through her and her family–no one holds grudges, they’re cool, they’re chill–so I’ve learned the right way [to forgive] over the past 18 years,” Gorga concluded.  Is this Joe’s way of hinting at the potential for an amicable relationship with his estranged sister, Teresa Giudice? Fans will just have to wait and see when Season 13 premieres on Bravo in 2023.  More Pop Culture:
