Do things go as smoothly as they planned? (What do you think?) Keep reading to find out all about Lifetime’s Blending Christmas.

What is Blending Christmas about?

The Hacienda de la Sierra is Emma’s (Haylie Duff) favorite place to spend the holiday season. Boyfriend Liam (AaronO’Connell) knows that and has been secretly planning to propose to her there, surrounded by both of their families. Of course, no holiday gathering is complete without drama, and soon the families are bickering. The stress eventually takes a toll on Emma and Liam, who start questioning their own relationship. Now just days before Christmas, the two families realize that they’re going to have to work together in order to reunite Emma and Liam!

Who’s in the cast of Blending Christmas?

Haylie Duff (Emma)

Duff has starred in a number of Christmas movies including Naughty & Nice, A Belle for Christmas and Christmas Belle. She is the older sister of actress Hilary Duff. Their mother, Susan, is a film producer. Fun fact:Haylie Duff starred in Naughty & Nice with another Brady Bunch alum, Maureen McCormick.

Aaron O’Connell (Liam)

O’Connell currently stars as Wyatt Cryer on OWN’s The Have and the Have Nots, but has previously starred in over a half dozen holiday films including 12 Gifts of Christmas, A Prince for Christmas and this season’s Candy Coated Christmas, Food Network’s first original holiday movie.

Greg Evigan (William)

Evigan has starred in several successful series including B. J. and the Bear, My Two Dads, and TekWar, though he got his start on Broadway appearing in Jesus Christ Superstar and Grease.

Beth Broderick (Michelle)

The Kentucky native is probably best known for her roles on Hearts Afire and as Zelda on the original Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Broderick also had roles in The Bonfire of the Vanities and Stealing Home.

Christopher Knight (Brian)

Christopher Knight played middle brother Peter Brady on The Brady Bunch. Outside of acting, Knight has also had a successful career in the computer industry.

Mike Lookinland (Andrew)

Lookinland played Bobby, the youngest Brady brother on The Brady Bunch. (Fun fact: He had been offered The Brady Bunch and The Courtship of Eddie’s Father around the same time and his parents opted for the former.) He spent some time behind the camera as a camera operator and aside from the show’s many spinoffs and sequels, Lookinland has mostly retired from acting.

Barry Williams (John)

Williams played Greg, the oldest Brady kid (and maybe the coolest) on The Brady Bunch (Didn’t we think he was so lucky to have his own “apartment” up in the attic of the house?) He has guest starred on such shows as That Girl, Full House and Scrubs.

Susan Olsen (Valerie)

Olsen played Cindy, the youngest of all six kids on The Brady Bunch. As an adult, Olsen has worked as a radio host and graphic designer. She is also a ardent animal rights advocate.

Robbie Rist (Sheldon)

Rist played Cousin Oliver on The Brady Bunch. He also has voiced a number of characters including Whiz in Kidd Video, Star in Balto, and the stuff dragon in Doc McStuffins. He and director Anthony C. Ferrante provided the music for the first Sharknado film as well as the theme song for the Sharknado franchise.

Telma Hopkins (Nicole)

Beginning her career as a singer, Hopkins was part of the 70s pop group, Tony Orlando and Dawn. As an actress, she was a part of several successful shows including Bosom Buddies, Gimme a Break! and Family Matters.

How was it like to work with actors who played such iconic television characters?

When Parade.com asked Duff about working with this particular cast, she said, “I always tend to get most excited about projects by the people that I get the chance to work with and this film was particularly special to me because it allowed me the opportunity to work with one of my childhood best friends, Marla Sokoloff, who directed the film. And of course, the chance to act alongside with the original ‘blended’ family, The Brady Bunch, was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I will cherish forever.”
