But the Dangerous Liaisons actress wasn’t just flaunting her glowing skin, as she also had an important message to share with her followers about the upcoming midterm elections. “Hi everybody 👋” Pfeiffer’s post began. “Did you know we only have 3 months until Election Day (can you believe it?) and America is facing a shortage of poll workers.” Pfeiffer then encouraged her fans to consider becoming poll workers, who are essential to any proper election. “Consider joining in to help change that!” she urged in the caption. “We all want to ensure a safe and secure election so…Let’s #PowerThePolls! #pollworkerrecruitmentday.” The Batman Returns star was also sporting an “I Heart Poll Workers” hat to support the cause. Pfeiffer isn’t just an active voice when it comes to civic duties, as she is also known to speak out about her passion for clean beauty products. She previously stated in a 2019 interview with Oprah Daily that she became interested in clean beauty after she became a mom. “You begin to look at the world through the eyes of your children, and you just want to protect them—so you start looking at health in a preventive way,” she said at the time. That philosophy is what inspired her perfume brand, Henry Rose, which prides itself on “full ingredient transparency.” “I love wearing perfume, but I couldn’t feel assured of the safety of the ingredients in anything I could find on the market,” she explained. “A person shouldn’t have to constantly choose between quality and safety. You should have both.” Pfeiffer has also revealed the beauty routine that has kept her skin looking youthful all these years. “I cleanse, I moisturize—that’s it,” she stated, while also noting that she’s been using the same products for over a decade.
