Normally, the ATFR special, during which we get to catch up with the lead and whomever his final pick was, airs immediately after the finale. But it was odd that there were no scenes for it after this week’s episode. Here’s why that could be.
Apparently, The Bachelor 2021’s ‘After the Final Rose’ special filmed late
According to Reality Steve, the special taped “this past Friday.” He posted that update Monday, March 8. It would have taped earlier, he says, but it was delayed because of the Chris Harrison drama. They had to find a replacement, and that they did in Emmanuel Acho, but the taping had to be pushed back due to the change. So, given how recently they taped, they just might not have had time to put together a teaser yet. We’re sure it’s soon to come, though.
So, when is The Bachelor 2021’s ‘After the Final Rose’ with Matt James airing?
According to Reality Steve, PEOPLE Magazine and other outlets, the ATFR is still happening during the season finale March 15. Acho will be steering the ship.
How long will the Bachelor finale be?
Make sure you clear your schedule–next week’s finale and ATFR special will be a whopping three hours. Hopefully, much of that will be dedicated to the ATFR because there is a lot to talk about.
What time is the Bachelor finale and After the Final Rose?
The finale will begin at 8 p.m. ET, as usual. The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special will air at 10 p.m. ET on ABC, immediately following the season finale.
There’s a twist to come at the end of ATFR!
Apparently, ABC will be announcing not one but two Bachelorettes, according to Reality Steve. Next, see the best reactions to and memes from Matt James’ fantasy suite dates.
