In particular, she nailed her versions of two well-known, beloved characters: Miss Piggy from The Muppets and Marge Simpson from The Simpsons. Taking on Marge first, Lizzo put on a tall wig painted Marge’s memorable blue color and wore a sparkling green dress and red beaded necklace to match Marge’s everyday look. Of course, she had to fully transform into the characteristic yellow color of the Simpsons, which she did with makeup or body paint. Lastly, she added black lines on her face to emulate the cartoon expression lines in the show. Showing off the look, Lizzo posted a video of herself in costume while miming audio from a different cartoon mom, Lois Griffin from Family Guy, captioning the post, “The crossover episode y’all been waitin for 🍩.” Gabrielle Union commented on the post, “Deaddddd sooooo good!!” Lizzo also posted some official photos of herself in the whole costume on Instagram. For the second costume, Miss Piggy, Lizzo took on the Muppet’s picture, “Miss Piggy and the Serpent,” which was itself an honorary remake of the 1981 portrait, “Nastassja Kinski and the Serpent,” taken by the late photographer Richard Avedon. Photographer Mike Ruiz photographed Miss Piggy in the same pose for a series of photos released in the 2000s for Zink Magazine. To recreate the look, Lizzo used a blonde wig with pig ears, a pig nose just like Miss Piggy’s, along with a big fake snake. The singer had an official photoshoot to create her own version of the well-known portrait, captioning it, “A tribute to my forever icon, MISS PIGGY. The epitome of grace, style, confidence and a warrior for love. @realmisspiggy i love you 🐽💋.” She then shared a video of herself as Miss Piggy on Instagram, holding a glass of wine and doing her best impression of the fan-favorite Muppet. This costume was just as much of a hit as the last one, with Kerry Washington writing, “Never misses!!!!!!!” Many fans left comments saying things like “YASSSSSSSSSSSSS 😍😍😍💕💕💕💕,” and “Just when I thought I couldn’t possibly love you more…” More News:
